Diane Robin Johnson, Esq., J.D., Certified Financial Planner

Diane is the CEO of Blackhawk Financial Advisors, LLC., a top fee-based Registered Investment Advisory and financial planning firm. Diane is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER and an attorney. Her strength lies in getting to know her clients and thoroughly analyzing their options using her legal and financial knowledge.

Diane was a Director of Financial Planning at Lincoln Financial Advisors. In her role as Director of Planning she served as the “planner to the planners” or the brains of the financial planning department – helping other planners behind the scenes by designing strategies for their clients. Diane has drafted over 500 financial plans.

Diane earned her J.D. degree from Hastings College of Law and her B.S. in Business Administration from San Jose State University. Diane also worked as an analyst for a large investment banking firm, has taught retirement classes at large corporations, and has over 25 years experience in the financial sector.

Inspired by her legal training, Diane has become a passionate advocate for her clients financial well being. Diane is an educator at heart. Teaching clients to make the best financial decisions through this life’s journey.

I am the Operations Director with 20 years of experience providing an array of busienss support functions to keep the back-engines running and evolving. I have a bachelor's degree in Business and am a licensed Life Agent.

A few things about me

  • I love the beach. I love Coca-cola Zero and ice cream.

  • I went from zero to three kids in 18 months because I had twins during my second pregnancy.

  • I am the third generation of my family in the US. My grandma only spoke Spanish. I'm also the first one to go to college in my family.
